We were already firm fans of Abu Dhabi Golf Club’s Golden Pass.
Golden Days
The Dhs99 pass gets you a full day’s access to The Pool Bar. In addition to your dip, you get to sip one included house draft beverage, access to the all day happy hour and lunch is taken care of with a plate of flame-grilled gastronomy from the barbecue.
You can make good barbecue choices by mixing up Greek-style beef striploin steaks; peri peri marinated chicken thigh; cajun and lime marinated perch skewers; harissa prawn skewers; coleslaw; roasted new potato; and bread & butter rolls.
Golden Pass holders can also get into the swing of things with the whole weekend-long happy hour — cut-price bevvies from 11am until close on Fridays and Saturdays.

And now the golden hours have been extended, with the launch of Golden Night every Thursday and Friday evening between 6.30pm and 11pm.
All that same Golden fun stuff, but a litte later.
Same pool access, same forever happy hour, same plate of barbecued delights, deals on shisha and a pint of hops. But with added layers of easy evening Ibiza chill.
Our in-sider (wink wink) information also tells us that a pint of the fizzy apple stuff, is just Dhs25.
There are sun loungers and shower rooms too, the pool is completely temp-controlled, and the bar is well-stocked with a vast range of beverage options.
