Sponsored: Do that new activity you’ve always talked about…

Do you feel like you’ve tried and tested all of Dubai’s brunches, happy hours and things on the nightlife scene and you want to swap a few out for a new activity? Why not get into golf? Dubai Golf has just launched monthly passes, where you can learn how to play golf at some top golf clubs across the city.

Whether you’re just starting out or want to hone your skills, the bundles welcome everyone (ladies, it’s not just a guys’ sport so get involved). With Dubai’s year-round sunshine and some incredible golf courses, it’s a brilliant hobby to have when you’re living here.

All lessons will be conducted by PGA Professionals and all equipment is provided free of charge so you don’t need to buy your own just yet. They’re available at Topgolf Dubai, Jumeirah Golf Estates and Dubai Creek Golf Club, and unlimited month-long classes start from Dhs495. Advanced packages are also available.

Monthly unlimited golf sessions are priced at Dhs495 at Jumeirah Golf Estates and Dubai Creek Golf Club, which are both beautiful, sprawling courses with amazing views. Each are found a little further out of the main city, which makes them perfect for day trips with your friends.

At Topgolf Dubai, a bundle of ten classes is available for Dhs595. In case you’re not familiar with Topgolf, it is a one-stop fun shop with 96 climate controlled hitting bays and LED circular targets that light up when your ball hits them. It’s kind of like bowling but for golf and is open to anyone of any ability or age.

Now the weather has finally cooled down, there’s no better time to make golf your new daytime activity. Each of the golf venues have ample food and beverage offerings, so you could start the day with a round of golf before enjoying lunch and a cold drink afterwards.

Bookings are made at the respective venues and lesson calendars can be viewed online. You can register here.
