Celebrity chef Heinz Beck’s signature restaurant Social by Heinz Beck is celebrating one of Dubai’s most treasured ingredients: the black truffle. Until February 10, black truffle enthusiasts can choose from a delectable five- or seven-course menu of uniquely crafted dishes perfectly complemented by the rich flavour and aroma of premium black truffle. Try the veal roll with artichoke, winter roots stuffed gnocchetti, scallops with carrot foam and more, all infused with the flavoursome goodness of black truffle. Both menus can be upgraded to include a wine pairing.

Stretch it out in the sky

Yogis and golden hour enthusiasts alike now have a chance to practice their sunrise salutations amidst a breathtaking view of Downtown Dubai with yoga at the CE LA VI pool deck. A breathtaking backdrop of the Burj Khalifa sets the scene for the perfect ‘gram shot, while a 60-minute session of stretching through a yoga-class for all abilities sets you up for the day.

Head to Expo for a huge concert

Following a huge inaugural event with Alicia Keys, Expo 2020 Dubai’s Infinite Nights is back with another huge name artist. This time, the one and only Black Eyed Peas will take to the stage on January 25. The American band are behind hits such as Where Is The Love?Boom Boom PowPump ItDon’t LieI Gotta Feeling and many more. Fans will be able to enjoy a string of their biggest hits live, as well as new music from their album ‘Translation’. Taking place on Tuesday January 25, the concert will take place in Al Wasl Plaza and is open to Expo 2020 Dubai ticket holders. The event will also be live-streamed to millions of viewers around the world, and available to watch online afterwards in case you miss the show.

Get ready to roll at a Britney themed ladies’ night

Get ready to sing along and say …One More Time this Wednesday as RollDXB gears up to celebrate the iconic Princess of pop, Britney Spears. The retro rink invites girl groups to dress up in their favourite Britney look: whether it’s the air hostess from Toxic or red catsuit from x and roll on over to Britney Night this Wednesday. Check out a cosy new cafe

Looking to grab a light bite in Dubai Marina? Cure the January blues

Dubai’s got a brand new festival, and it’s launching at a totally new venue this January. The Square @ ISD Dubai, which can be found in Dubai Sports City, will play host to Dubai Blues Festival, which is set to take place on January 27, 28 and 29, as part of the Dubai Shopping Festival. Audiences can be taken away to yesteryear with the soulful sounds of blues, serenaded to them by some of the genre’s best-known singers of the time. On Thursday night, expect to see Boney Fields and Lakeetra Knowles live. While tickets are free, you’ll need to book outdoor tables online.
