There are things in this world that you won’t find in any encyclopedia simple because they don’t exist… yet…

The Museum of the Future opens its doors this month on February 22, 2022. It was announced earlier this month by HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.

No other information was shared by Sheikh Mohammed, however yesterday, HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai shared a little sneak peek of the inside on his Instagram.

The video was accompanied by a caption by Sheikh Hamdan that reads, ‘The most beautiful building on earth…a sneak peek’

It starts with an exterior shot of the beautiful structure which is made up of 1,024 panels forming beautiful Arabic calligraphy all around the museum.

The writing is a quote by HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.

The Arabic calligraphy consists of three quotes: ‘We may not live for hundreds of years, but the products of our creativity can leave a legacy long after we are gone.’, ‘The future belongs to those who can imagine it, design it, and execute it’ and ‘The future does not wait. The future can be designed and built today.’

*Here’s what we know about Museum of the Future*

The next clip shows us the walkway leading up to the Museum of the Future followed by the words ‘There are things in this world that you won’t find in any encyclopedia simple because they don’t exist’ following the word ‘yet…’

The video shows a young girl opening the doors to the Museum of the Future following a video clip of the little girl with her family heading into the space (future) in what appears to be a spaceship.

The video then shows the little girl removing her space helmet staring at a wall with the visual of earth on it, followed by clips of immersive digital displays. We see clips of rain forests, and immersive art installations followed by a reveal of an Emirati man looking taking a glimpse of the future of Dubai.

We can’t wait to step inside.
