Sponsored: Spend your next Saturday sipping Mai Tai’s…

One of Dubai’s most cherished venues, Trader Vic’s, is hosting a party brunch at its tropical JBR outpost, and if you love to fiesta your way through Saturday, it’s one you need to know about. If you’re in charge of organising brunch this week, the island-inspired ‘Tiki Hula Hula’ brunch is one the whole crew will love, with non-stop dishes and all the Mai Tai’s you can handle. Guests can hula dance the afternoon away to beats of the live Latin Band from 1pm to 4pm every Saturday.

For three hours, all brunchers will be served starters directly to their table, including jalapeno cheese balls, pow pow wings, spring rolls and a selection of dim sum. The main courses are the main attraction, with three live stations serving baos, paella, and ceviche, as well as a selection brought to your table. This will include five-spiced chicken, roasted prawns, beef skewers, and shishito peppers. Be sure to save room for dessert, which will be a surprise that changes each week.

The ambience will be unmatched, with the venue decked out in tiki-tastic props, matching the beats of the live band.. The fun doesn’t stop at this brunch, with a Hula Hoop competition taking place halfway through, in which all hoopers compete to see who can last the longest, with winners receiving a free brunch on their next visit.

The standard Tiki Hula package will get you house beverages and signature Trader Vic’s cocktails for Dhs450, or you can upgrade to include unlimited bubbly alongside your signature cocktails for Dhs550. You won’t need to venture far to find your post-brunch plans, as Trader Vics offers a happy hour from 5pm to 7pm.
