The South American spot promises plenty of flavour, entertainment and surprises…

With so many incredible new additions to Palm Jumeirah’s dining scene this year alone, Atlantis, The Palm seems determined to solidify its position as one of the top destinations for tourists and residents to dine out.

Recently it was announced that that popular high end Japanese concept Nobu would be relocating to Atlantis’ coveted Royal Bridge Suite. And now, we can finally reveal that vibrant South American restaurant En Fuego will open its doors on Friday December 9.

Taking the spot in the Avenues previously occupied by Ronda Locatelli, the space will say goodbye to its Italian roots in favour of a South American flavour. En Fuego, which translates to on fire in Spanish, is set to be a high-octane, social dining concept with a big focus on entertainment.

What’s On has already had a sneak peek inside, and trust us when we say, this is a spot with plenty of personality. No detail has been spared when it comes to the interiors, the menu or the entertainment.

In collaboration with conceptual partner and hospitality heavyweight Solutions Leisure, the venue looks unrecognisable from its former life. Dressed from top to bottom in authentic Colombian decor, each piece was sourced by the team at Bishop Design, who are known for creating some of the city’s most stunning restaurants.

A carousel-inspired bar takes centre stage in the first zone, situated close to the open kitchen with a full view of Chef Daniel García and his team cooking up culinary magic.

Guests are welcomed by Master Showman, Don Fuego, who invites you into his world of unexpected experiences. A huge cast of talented performers vary from musicians and dancers, to singing hosts and an enchanting family of roaming characters – offering non-stop entertainment throughout the evening.

An elevated stage, permanently prepped for live bands, overlooks the main atrium, which is where you’ll find unforgettable performances daily. From Madame Rosa, who serenades guests with endearing vocals, to the Matadora and the Bull taking part in an authentic Argentinian tango, there’s never a dull moment at En Fuego.
