The global research, training and consultancy firm Great Place to Work has recently recognised the best places to work in the UAE, listing five governmental, 25 large and 50 small and medium organisations for its 2023 list, which takes into account over 60 countries.

Many of the best workplaces listed will be familiar to Dubai residents, such as the Hilton group, Babyshop, THE One, Aura Skypool Dubai, Saudi German Hospitals, Jumeirah Group, Centre Point, The Giving Movement and many more.

The top five governmental workplaces in the UAE have been listed as Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority, Sharjah Electricity Water and Gas Authority, Government of Sharjah – Department of eGov, Abu Dhabi Early Childhood Authority.

As per Great Place To Work, the companies recognised have ‘worked diligently to form connections and transform cultures and ensure employee well-being goes hand in hand with economic growth.’ Great Place to Work has highlighted that in a post-pandemic society, leaders have worked very hard and creatively to maintain employee well-being and continue growing connections with their employees.

Any Middle Eastern company with 10 or more employees that falls within the industries on the list is eligible to participate. Any company on the list was chosen primarily based on their employees’ responses to the Great Place to Work Trust Index, a Great Place to Work employee survey.
