You may need to change your plans this weekend…

If you’re a fan of the Palm Fountain show at The Pointe or haven’t seen the record-breaking display yet, take note that this weekend will be the last time the Palm Fountain will spring to life.

A post on The Pointe’s official Instagram account states that the Palm Fountain will be closing on Monday, May 15. The post states ‘Come and catch the final shows at the weekend – Friday, May 12 to Sunday, May 14.

About the Palm Fountain

The huge fountain show at The Pointe launched back on October 22, 2020. When launched, the dancing fountain broke a Guinness World Record to become the World’s Largest Fountain – even bigger than The Dubai Mall.

The fountain shoots up to 105 metres high and is choreographed along with over 3,000 LED lights. The Palm Fountain is spread over 14,000 sq feet of seawater across the bay from Atlantis The Palm.

In the past, the show has been choreographed to celebrate different festivals such as Diwali and Saint Patrick’s Day. We are unsure at the moment if there will be a special show this weekend, but we are keeping our eye on social media for any announcements – stay tuned.

How to get to the Palm Fountain if you don’t have a car?

Palm monorail

If you’re worried about traffic on the Palm over the weekend or stressed about parking, you can now take the Palm Monorail to The Pointe.

The Palm Monorail zips from the tail end of the Palm at Gateway Station up to Aquaventure at Atlantis, The Palm. It makes stops at Al Ittihad Park, Nakheel Mall and The Pointe. Travellers can use their nol cards to make payments.
