Maldives, who?

A city that can never have too many man-made islands or too many hotels, Dubai Islands are one of the latest developments that already have two open hotels: the Centara Mirage Beach Resort Dubai and Hotel RIU Dubai. Rixos Dubai Islands will be the newest addition to the Islands.

Island living

This will be the first residential and luxury hotel offering on the island, which means if you’re looking for that luxe island living life – this is the place to be.

The residents of the Rixos Dubai Islands will have access to the same hotel amenities which focus on sports, leisure and wellness.

The hotel also promises popular cafes and restaurants as well as various entertainment options.

One, two and three-bedroom apartments complete with overhanging terraces are available as well as four-bedroom duplexes with private pools.

But wait, there’s more – beach houses will feature their own garden and terraces and there are also 10 luxury villas.

It is a hotel too

The hotel boasts the same level of service and amenities that can be found across the global Rixos brand, including infinity pools to boot, a spa and a fitness centre.

Set back in a secluded cove on the Islands, residents and hotel guests will have access to 700 metres of beach space with direct access.

Keeping with the resort feel, rooms will feature mid-rise contemporary architecture.

Rixos is known for its family-friendly facilities and the Dubai Islands offshoot will be no different. A kids club will ensure that the little ones are well looked after and entertained.

Opening dates

The Dubai Islands is already open and home to two established hotels and is part of the Dubai 2040 Urban Master Plan.

The Rixos Dubai Islands will first be showcased at Nakeel’s popup at Harrods on July 29 and will be on display until August 3.

We don’t know the official opening date yet but as soon as we know, you’ll know.
