Good news: The Palm Monorail is back in service on Palm Jumeirah
You can once again take the scenic route across Palm Jumeirah
Back in January, the Palm Monorail temporarily paused operations for scheduled maintenance. However, a number of posts shared on the official Palm Monorail Instagram account now states it is up and running.

The post reads, ‘We’re back on track. The Palm Monorail is open! Hop on and enjoy the ride across Palm Jumeirah.’
Running along the trunk of Palm Jumeirah, the 5.5km Palm Monorail connects visitors to some of the island’s top attractions, from Gateway Station and Golden Mile Galleria to Al Ittihad Park, Palm Jumeirah Mall and Atlantis Aquaventure at the final stop.

While it’s more or less just a way for people to get from the tip of the Palm Jumeirah trunk to the base, it was fairly popular, especially with tourists (and maybe a one-time ride for residents).

You can book your tickets here. You can either purchase a single trip, round trip, Family Pass, or Unlimited Pass.

Palm Monorail train timings
The service runs throughout the week, but it doesn’t operate around the clock, so be sure to plan your journey ahead.
According to the official website, the first train leaves the Gateway station at 9am, and the last train is at 9.45pm.
The first train from Atlantis departs at 9.15am, and the last at 10pm.
The time gap between every departure is 15 minutes – so it’s not too long a wait.
