Dubai's most expensive penthouse has sold for Dhs102million
It comes with a 20-metre rooftop pool and uninterrupted Dubai Marina views…
The most expensive penthouse in Dubai has just sold for a cool Dhs102 million, blitzing the previous record-holding price tag of Dhs60 million set earlier this year.
The three-storey penthouse, located at One Palm by Ominyat, was purchased by an anonymous buyer, developer Ominyat has revealed.
The luxury apartment, which is one of three triplex penthouses in the building, features five en-suite bathrooms, several living areas and balconies spread over 29,800 square feet.
To put that in perspective, a one-bedroom apartment is typically 1000 square feet in size…
Even so, the new owner has requested one small addition.
The buyer has asked that a 20-metre-long private lap pool be built on the penthouse rooftop, for the ultimate private swimming experience. Naturally, Omniyat has agreed.

“Ever since the One Palm was announced, we knew that the Penthouse would eventually become Dubai’s most expensive residence,” said Mahdi Amjad, CEO of Omniyat.
“The deal was concluded at a record Dhs102 million and we at Omniyat would like to congratulate the new proud owner of this incredible piece of ultra luxury real estate.”
The 100-metre tall, 100-metre wide One Palm project was unveiled in February, and is home to just 90 apartments. Scheduled for completion in 2018, One Palm will sit on the trunk of The Palm.
The exclusive address includes a private marina that allows residents convenient mooring and access to their yachts, a fine-dining restaurant, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a cinema and cigar lounge.
So… just like our building, then…
