1. Enjoy a one-off Thursday ladies’ day

White Beach’s ladies’ day normally takes place on a Tuesday, however this week you’ll be able to check it out on Thursday February 27. The deal is Dhs100 for girls, including pool and beach access, unlimited rose wine and cocktails, or for an additional Dhs50, there’s free-flowing house beverages on offer too. You can also enjoy a special food menu which comes with a 50 per cent discount.

2. It’s the start of Dubai Food Festival

Dubai Food Festival is set to return for another year on Wednesday February 26, 2020. The city-wide event will take place until Saturday March 14, where you’ll see many of your favourite restaurants, street food vendors and chefs come together for a celebration of all things culinary. Beach Canteen returns February 26 to March 14 with a kids play zone, cooking workshops, live cooking sessions at the beachside theatre, gaming square and sports court. Dubai Restaurant Week is also making a comeback from March 5 to 14 with 35 exciting Dubai restaurants offering their signature dishes for less over a 10-day period.

3. Sing along to No Letting Go

Reggae legend Wayne Wonder is set to perform at Cove Beach on Thursday. The No Letting Go hit-maker will be performing all his biggest hits for the weekly JMRCK party. Entrance will be Dhs150 including one drink or free with pre-reservation of tables.

4. Dine with a celebrity chef

If you consider yourself as a bit of a foodie, then listen up because famed celebrity chef Akira Back is headed to Dubai and you can dine with him. He’ll be visiting his namesake restaurant on Thursday February 27. From 8pm to midnight, indulge in a selection of exciting cocktails and house drinks, accompanied by the sounds of DJ Eden and live entertainment for Dhs445. 5. See Trevor Nelson spinning some throwback tunes

If you love 90s and 00s hit throwbacks, then get down to Barasti on Thursday February 27 when legendary Kiss FM DJ Trevor Nelson will be taking over the decks. Not only that but there’s plenty of retro games to get involved with including human foosball, giant Twister, human bowling, beer pong and giant Operation, as well as top 90s game show Blind Date.

6. Get ready to be Locked In

The What’s On Lock In is back, it’s already sold out so stay tuned for the next one if you didn’t manage to get tickets. On Friday February 28, you’ll check into JA Lake View Hotel before getting familiarised with all the fun stuff planned for the weekend. 9. See One Republic live

On Friday February 28, American pop-rock band One Republic will headline the Emirates Airline Dubai Jazz Festival. The Counting Stars hitmakers will be performing the final day of the three-day festival. Since 2002, the international band have been producing a string of iconic hits such as Wanted, Rescue Me and Stop and Stare. You can catch all of these and more when they take the stage on the Friday night. They will be supported by Jazz band Sammy Miller & The Congregation.

10. Explore a new nightlife venue

If you’re a fan of electronic, house and techno music, we’ve found a brand new venue to practice your best two-stepping in. Hangar 4, which has both indoor and outdoor space, is a huge warehouse venue in Port Mina Rashid, set to open with a massive event on Friday February 28. Kicking off Hangar 4’s opening weekend will be a 12-hour music marathon from world-renowned music festival, Afterlife. The event is set to be a huge party, with the venue already on its final wave of ticket sales. 11. Create your own lipstick
