First look: Inside Baby Q on the 43rd floor of Media One Hotel

Looking for a new hangout spot with incredible views, a fresh look, cool bar and food served for breakfast, lunch and dinner?
Enter Baby Q. You’ll find the brand new bar on the 43rd floor of Media One Hotel in Dubai’s Media City. It occupies the spot formerly held by Q43, but expect a whole new vibe when you pay it a visit.
The doors will finally open to the public today, Thursday, September 17, from 10.30pm so make sure you’ve got it in your diary. ‘BABY Q Bar Lounge’ is slated to be ‘chic, casual and a little lighthearted’, serving up a fresh new menu and sophisticated cocktails.
Can’t wait until tonight to see it? Well, not to worry, as we have exclusive images of the venue for you. There are tropical hues of pink and green everywhere in the new venue, with plush couches, a cool camouflage design on the ceiling and retro artwork on the walls.
Upon entering BABY Q, you’ll find a casual seating area, which will be the main ‘restaurant’ area, however food will be served throughout the venue. This area is perfect for a casual breakfast, lunch or a business meeting with a Coffee Planet caffeine-fix.
The venue will be open from Sundays to Fridays, but closed on Saturdays. A ‘golden hour’ happy hour will run from 4pm to 8pm, Sunday to Friday, with a 50 percent discount on food, selected beverages and pool. On Tuesdays, ladies can avail unlimited drinks and a food dish for Dhs150.

There is a massive focus on healthy dishes on the menu, which caters for a range of dietary requirements, including vegetarian and plant-based. Breakfast options include Instagrammable açaí bowls, eggs ‘any style’ on toast with avocado and more.
You’ll also find meat, seafood and platters on the menu. BABY Q will also be delivering food to offices in Media One Tower, so that’s your office lunch sorted.
