The Crown Prince shared his experience 828 metres high…

Have you ever wondered what the view would be like from the very top of Burj Khalifa? Not just from At The Top, but the tip of the spire, 828 metres into the sky. Well, HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, has done the hard (and terrifying) work to show us.

Quite the adrenaline junkie, it’s no secret that our Crown Prince loves an adventure. Whether it’s cycling down Sheikh Zayed Road or jumping from an aeroplane, it looks like Sheikh Hamdan, affectionately known as Fazza, isn’t scared of anything.

Yesterday evening, on Saturday December 5, the Crown Prince took to Instagram to share a montage of clips depicting his latest stunt – climbing to the top of Burj Khalifa. The video begins in a narrow cylinder with a ladder up one side where Fazza can be seen harnessed up with a helmet, mid-way up the ladder.

The next shot shows a silhouette of Sheikh Hamdan gently leaning back to show the city lights far behind him. The heart-racingly high view looks incredible, as we’re shown a panoramic birds-eye view of Dubai by night.

Standing in a tiny crate with just a harness to protect him, the brave Crown Prince seemed to love his experience. He captioned his Instagram video with “828 meters of excitement #BurjKhalifa” before sharing a selfie in a #MyDubai baseball cap with his 10 million Instagram followers.

The video has already amassed over 10,000 comments, and more than 800,000 views. Fans posted messages of praise and appreciation, clearly impressed by the brave act.

Burj Khalifa also shared the video to its official Instagram page.
