1. Check out a new wellness hub

A new home for wellness has appeared in Dubai Marina. Called Eclipse, the new centre offers a range of unique fitness classes, from animal flow to yoga dance. If you’re looking to break away from the norm, give one of these experiences a go this week. Alternatively, relax and unwind in one of the three treatment rooms. Classes start from Dhs120 per class or Dhs1,300 per month for unlimited classes.

2. Catch a movie in the snow

It’s not too late to enjoy a new movie at Ski Dubai. The snowy attraction has a cosy set-up every day for film fans to enjoy their favourite flicks. Movies on offer include Tom & Jerry: The Movie, The Croods: A New Age and Bigfoot 2 as well as new releases including The Little Things, Wonder Woman 1984 and Shock Wave 2. Ticket prices for Snow Cinema start at Dhs100 per person and include a cinema ticket as well as hot chocolate, popcorn and a bottle of water.

3. Soak up the sun in style

Azure Beach pool pass

Enjoy a day at the pool in one of Azure Beach’s stunning cabanas. There are six to choose from, but each private area has its own plunge pool, so you and your friends can relax in peace. The small ones start from Dhs4000 minimum spend and the larger ones are Dhs6000, which you can put towards your food and drinks bill.

4. Discover a new Japanese lounge

Palm Jumeirah’s The Pointe has welcomed a new Japanese concept to its ever growing offering of dining and nightlife venues. Aka is described as an immersive lounge, which will host an exciting line-up of theatrical live performers. Although live entertainment is on hold for the moment, once it’s safe to do so, the venue will be launching a unique show for diners. Aka promises to ‘wow guests with an edgy, yet opulent sense of theatre through immersive live performances’.

5. Tuck into a new menu

Beluga Restaurant and Lounge has relaunched its menu to offer a lot more variety. There’s plenty of new dishes to try, from truffle pizza and spiced octopus to flame torched scallops and California maki. You’ll find the chic restaurant in Mandarin Oriental Jumeira.

Wednesday February 24

6. Treat yourself with a happy hour deal

Every day between 5pm and 7pm, Eve Penthouse is offering drinks for Dhs39. The rooftop terrace is an ideal spot to watch the sunset, and enjoy the skyline views once the sun goes down. The offer applies to selected beverages, but there’s also food and shisha available at the venue.
