Locations have been confirmed by the Department of Health…

Back on August 14, 2021, the Abu Dhabi Emergency, Crisis and Disasters Committee announced that from September 20, 2021 — individuals will require a booster jab to activate the Alhosn Green Pass.

This applies to all residents and citizens of Abu Dhabi who have received both doses of the Sinopharm vaccine more than six months ago. For whom, a third booster shot (obtained before September 20) will be required or they will risk losing Green Status on the Alhosn app, along with its access privileges.

It was later clarified that this only applies to Sinopharm, those residents inoculated with other vaccine types are currently not advised to top up with a third dose of any manufacturer.
