Dubai is celebrating Diwali, the Dubai Fitness Challenge and the opening of Global Village…

Fireworks are the sort of entertainment that everyone just loves which is why Dubai offers up plenty of it.

For the rest of October until mid-November, there are plenty of reasons to celebrate including the reopening of Global Village, Dubai Fitness Challenge and the Hindu Festival of Lights – Diwali. And yes, there are fireworks taking place all over Dubai to celebrate.

Here are four spots to see fireworks in Dubai 

October

Global Village opened its doors to the world yesterday on Tuesday, October 26. Apart from soaking in a number of cultures from around the world, the popular attraction is hosting a number of firework displays.

The glittering displays will take place every Thursday and Friday, from October 28 to November 12 at 9pm.

October 29 marks the first day of the Dubai Fitness Challenge and there are fireworks to mark Day 1 of the 30-day fitness event. It takes place on Jumeirah Beach just behind Sunset Mall. As an added treat, you’ll get spectacular views of the Burj Al Arab and beyond. The fireworks begin at 8.30pm.

November

If the opening of Ain Dubai hasn’t drawn you to Bluewaters yet, the attractive firework display will surely call your name. Offering up views of Dubai Marina and the city skyline, the Bluewaters fireworks are a must-see. The firework show starts at 9.30pm on Thursday, November 4.

Finally, on the other end of Dubai at the popular Dubai Festival City Mall, you can see a cool firework display taking place over Festival Bay waterside. As an added treat to your Diwali celebrations, make a reservation at one of the restaurants overlooking The Bay for uninterrupted views.

Additionally, you can watch a special Diwali IMAGINE Show featuring popular Bollywood dance numbers.

The fireworks and IMAGINE show take place on Thursday, November 4, at 9.30pm.
