UAE weather update: Cooler temps and clearer skies
Slightly cooler by day, humid by night…
The heat isn’t going anywhere just yet, but today, Thursday, April 24, comes with a small but welcome shift. According to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM), the UAE weather is looking at a fair day overall. While temperatures are set to drop slightly, particularly along the coast, humidity levels will rise after dark in some areas by Friday morning. Here’s what you can expect from the UAE weather today.
Dubai and the coast: A calm day ahead
For Dubai and other coastal areas, expect a fair day with a slight drop in temperatures, particularly around the shore. Daytime highs will be around 30°C-35°C, with the heat easing off slightly compared to recent days. By night, things will start to get more humid, with the possibility of mist forming in certain coastal spots. Winds will be light to moderate, offering a slight breeze to help keep things a bit cooler.
Abu Dhabi: Hot, but with some relief
In Abu Dhabi, the mercury will rise higher, with temperatures expected to hit 44°C in some regions. The heat will be intense during the day, but temperatures will drop to a more manageable 20°C at night. As with Dubai, the evening will see humidity creeping in, and mist could form in some northern coastal areas.
