Parking at some of the most popular destinations on Yas Island is getting an upgrade

From Sunday July 6, visitors heading to Yas Bay Waterfront, Yas Marina and West Yas Plaza on Yas Island will be able to use a new ticketless parking system, making it quicker and easier to park.

The new setup uses automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) technology to read your vehicle’s licence plate when you enter and leave. There are no paper tickets, parking barriers or payment machines, simply drive in and out.

The system has been introduced in partnership with PARKONIC and is linked to Salik. If your Salik account is connected, parking fees will be deducted automatically. If you don’t have a Salik account, you can pay using the PARKONIC app or via SMS.
