What is life without a little sweetness? That’s exactly what the masterminds at The Royal Atlantis Resort on The Palm must have thought when they announced that celebrity-loved luxury bakery ‘Little Venice Cake Company’ will open in the new hotel opens in Dubai next year.

Owned by award-winning atelier baker Mich Turner MBE, the UK-based luxury cake company have a stellar clientele list that includes Buckingham Palace, Downton Abbey, Pierce Brosnan, Madonna, David Beckham and Sir Paul McCartney.

It will be the first branch of the bakery to open outside of the UK and completes the 13 restaurant line-up at The Royal Atlantis Resort, which is slated to open in the third quarter of 2020.

As well as having a loyal celebrity following, the Little Venice Cake Company’s creations have also been on display at high-end brands’ department stores including Harrods, Fortnum and Mason and Harvey Nichols.

Visitors to the couture bakery will be able to feast their eyes (and bellies) on a spectacular array of cakes, homemade fudge, brownies, cupcakes, biscuits and, of course, we can expect a seriously Insta-worthy afternoon teas.

Plus, the glass kitchen within the atelier will allow budding bakers and those with a sweet tooth an invitation into the creativity that goes into their seriously wow-worthy creations.

Cakes can be chosen and personalised from the open showroom and the brand will also offer its customers next day delivery. For a seriously grand occasion, there will be an atelier bespoke service, where clients will meet with Mich and her team, to ensure they get the cake of their dreams.

Little Venice Cake Company is the final restaurant to be announced to open in The Royal Atlantis Resort. It will join the already announced restaurants by celebrity chefs  Gastón AcurioCostas SpiliadisAriana BundyHeston Blumenthal and Jose Andres.
