Here’s when Dubai Safari Park is reopening for the new season
3,000 animals. Six themed zones. Dubai Safari Park is back
For the animal lovers, this one is back on the map. Dubai Safari Park reopens on October 14, marking the start of Season 7 with over 3,000 animals, six themed zones, two safari adventures, and plenty of open space to explore. Spread across 119 hectares of solar-powered grounds, it’s one of the few places in the city where you can feed a giraffe, spot a lion, and ride a safari train, all in the same afternoon.
Explore the park’s unique habitats
Arabian Desert Safari, Asian Village, African Village, Kids Farm, Alwadi, and Explorer Village – these are your playgrounds for the day. Each zone is designed to represent the natural habitats and regions where the animals originate, so you feel like you’ve stepped into different corners of the world. From lions and lemurs to elephants and more, there’s plenty to discover. You can walk it, or hop on the safari train if you’re not in the mood to trek.
Plus, specialist zones like the Reptile House and Grand Aviary offer a chance to get up-close with some of the world’s most exceptional creatures.
Feed the crew
Giraffe snacks? Elephant hangouts? All on the schedule. There are daily feeding sessions across the park where you can get closer to the animals. It’s one of the best ways to experience the park, especially if you’ve got kids in tow or just want to do more than watch.

The ride
You don’t have to hike it. A shuttle train links the whole park, looping through all five zones. It’s ideal for catching your breath or seeing everything in one go, especially when the sun’s out. Just hop on and jump off when something catches your eye.
