The free drone show on JBR is back every night for Dubai Shopping Festival
The drone show will light up the skies every night
If you think about Dubai, the mind is often drawn to think about futuristic concepts, technology and grand displays. Well, you can expect exactly that when the Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF) drone show returns to JBR.
The dates to note are December 5, 2025, to January 11, 2026. It takes place over Bluewaters and The Beach JBR.
If you are popping over to look up, you’ll be able to spot more than 1,000 LED drones lighting up the sky, creating stunning shapes, colours and even drone-powered pyro effects.

If you’ve seen it once and think you don’t have to see it again, think again.
Over the Dubai Shopping Festival, there will be two shows to watch.
The first show is called Dubai City of Dreams. It takes you on a journey across Dubai’s famous landmarks with storytelling, stunning drone visuals, and songs featuring Hans Zimmer tracks and other iconic music. The show only runs until December 26, 2025.
After this, from December 26, we will be enthralled by a second show called Celebrations. This one is full of bright colours and impressive drone formations, all set to powerful music that adds to the festive atmosphere.
Both shows have been upgraded this year with faster drone movements, brighter lights, and more effects. It’s definitely an exciting show to watch this festive season.

Love drones? Did you catch this performance at Dubai Frame?
Earlier this December, Red Bull turned the Dubai Frame into one giant game of Tetris. And we don’t mean inside the venue… we mean literally within the four towering sides of the frame itself.
Over 2,000 drones took to the skies within the Dubai Frame, lighting up in perfect sync as two top players showed off their stacking skills.
And yes, in true Dubai style, it was one of the biggest displays of a game of Tetris ever.
