INT. Records launches in Dubai with aim of producing chart-topping hits
The label’s first release “Yeah Yeah” from rapper Ben Rendèl is due out tomorrow
Fans of big beats and even bigger bravado take note, a new record label has set up shop in Dubai and is looking to make waves
INT. Records, which also positions itself as a lifestyle and entertainment company, is coming strong out of the gate with a debut single from Leeds-born rapper and producer Ben Rendèl and the eventual goal of producing hit records that land in the Billboard charts.
Rendèl, the label’s flagship artist and spokesperson, says that he and his partner, general manager of INT. Records Nick Böhnlein, look at Dubai as an innovative destination to establish a global record label.
“Our aim is to become a strong arm of the music industry in this region of the world,” says Rendèl, adding “We wanted to create a label where we can bring on new artists and provide their start in the music business. We stand for global music, not local, which is what the INT. signifies for our brand.”
Rendèl’s single “Yeah Yeah” launches tomorrow on iTunes, Spotify and Apple Music and is a bass-heavy affair with some slick rhymes to match. A music video for the track is up on his official YouTube page, however we’re unable to post it here due to this bring a family-friendly website (natch).
