Emirates Golf Club to host South African braai during the Rugby World Cup
Sponsored: Rugby, Braai and Brews is taking place for one day only…
The Rugby World Cup is now underway and the competition is heating up. On Friday October 4, South Africa take on Italy in what is set to be an epic match and to celebrate, Emirates Golf Club is throwing a traditional South African braai.
For those that don’t know, a braai or braaivleis is a barbecue or roast that usually includes serving up a wide range or marinated meats. Fans attending the fun-filled event can bring their own meat or buy from Emirates Golf Club on the day.
While the game is on, guests will be able to tuck into the delicious spread and cheer on their favourite team while overlooking the stunning views across the golf course. Not only that, but afterwards there’ll be a special live performance from Byron Minnie and Die Kontrak’s Runner-up, Ivan Roux, alongside a special appearance from Miss Intercontinental South Africa, Dane Venter.
If you see yourself as a bit of an aficionado in the kitchen, then sign up to enter their potjiekos competition too, for the chance to win an awesome grand prize.
Tickets for the action-packed day cost Dhs55 which you can purchase online here.
