Etihad Airways, the UAE’s National Airline has partnered with Dnata porterage service, Dubz and healthcare specialists, Life Dx to create a comprehensive home check in experience.
From the comfort of your own home, you’ll now be able to do your PCR test, check in, select your seats, grab your boarding passes, and hand over your bags, all in one seamless appointment.
This is a huge win for those looking to minimise airport time, avoiding last minute scrambles and cutting out inconvenient queue time.
Introducing Home check-in. Skip the queue and check in your luggage, pick your seat, collect your boarding pass, and conduct your pre-flight PCR test all from the comfort of your own home.

The service is bookable via the etihad.com website, with prices from Dhs220 for four bags. The Home Check In Plus package at Dhs400 includes check in for four guests, priority boarding and priority baggage collection at the destination.
The home PCR testing is an additional cost of Dhs239 per person.
Verified To Fly
To make things even easier, you can now validate all your Covid-19 travel documents before you get to the airport.
The ‘Manage My Booking‘ tab includes a section for uploading all the relevants documents for travel during the pandemic. Once all the documents have been checked and verified you’ll be sent an email confirming you are ‘verified to fly’.
