The third edition of the Thai Festival is coming to Umm Al Emarat Park
Say sawadika to the Thai Festival for another year…
The Royal Thai Embassy and Team Thailand in the UAE will be hosting the third installment of the Thai Festival at Umm Al Emarat Park in Abu Dhabi. The event will be taking place from Friday, December 9 to Sunday, December 11. The three day event will feature a wide range of activities and showcases that will present all the dimensions of Thailand and Thai culture.
Guests can enjoy a variety of cultural performances, a live concert from Thai singer Viyada Komarakul Na Nakorn. There will also be a Thai boxing tournament that will be hosted by UAE Muay Thai and Kickboxing Federation. So you can be sure to expect Thai classics such as pad Thai, massaman curry, and the slightly controversial but delicious mango sticky rice.
The festival is taking place at one of Abu Dhabi’s oldest and largest parks. The event will be a fun-filled and family friendly affair for people of all ages and is the perfect way to enjoy your weekend as the weather begins to cool down this winter season.
The event will be taking place On Friday, December 9 from 3pm to 10pm and Saturday, December 10 and Sunday, December 11 from 10am to 10pm.

If after the Thai Festival you still have a hankering for outdoor markets. Taking place every Friday and Saturday until March 18, 2023 between the hours of 4pm and 11pm, The Park Market is a little piece of fresh air retail reverie. You’ll find such ‘you never knew you wanted’ items as candles, clothes, accessories, antiques, jewelry, cosmetics, perfume, and organic produce.
There are a whole host of fun activities this weekend. Other Umm Al Emarat Park attractions include the petting zoo, amphitheatre, petting zoo, a wisdom garden (because you’re never too zen to wise up), Salt burger van, Parker’s cafe, home Bakery, shade house, promenade, a miniature train tour, alfresco movies every weekend, and until December 8, the Miami Vibes street food festival.
