Prices for PCR tests in the UAE have been dropping consistently over the past few months. When testing facilities first opened in the UAE, Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) tests were priced from Dhs370. Since then, the cost has been significantly reduced.
The first price drop took place on September 10, taking the price down to Dhs250. Further drops were recently been announced, which decreased the price of PCR tests to Dhs180 and Dhs150. The new Dhs85 price tag makes the testing more accessible, especially for those who require frequent testing.
