What’s On have amazing pictures of Dubai Canvas project at The Beach opposite JBR. The 3D Street Art in Dubai can be seen until March 7 2015.

The inaugural Dubai Canvas Festival taking place at The Beach opposite JBR from March 1 to 7, celebrates artists from around the world who are taking to the pavement to paint one of a kind, giant optical illusions during daily live performance for the public, free of charge.

The festival’s guest of honour, Kurt Wenner – recognised as being the inventor for 3-D street art has already begun painting his piece, Pearl Fishers.

Aside from the live demonstration, Dubai Canvas Festival also features various activities that include a lecture delivered by Kurt Wenner. Meanwhile, the festival plays host to other entertainment games including a kids’ art zone.
