These two Dubai pubs were dubbed Irish Pubs of the Year

The Irish Pubs Global Awards have named two of the UAE’s best-loved Irish hotspots in their Irish Pubs of the Year shortlist.
Where, you ask? The Irish Village in Al Garhoud and McGettigan’s Abu Dhabi.
The Irish Village went up against some stiff competition, including Jinty McGuinty’s in Glasgow, Kevin Barry’s in California and Jameson Distillery Pub in Cologne.

Ah, Irish Village. It’s a little far away for some of us, but well worth the trip if you decide to head down.
