Han Shi Fu
Described as a ‘trendy Asian fusion gastropub’, Han Shi Fui can be found in Aloft City Centre Deira. Split into multiple dining areas, the vibrant space promises a ‘unique mood and atmosphere’ at each. As well as restaurant dining, there’s a more casual bar area where diners can perch up for a pre or post dinner drink.

Kizmet
Kizmet is a two-storey restaurant promising “a cool comfortable well-lit space with small plates and a focus on a neighborhood feel” that can be found in the Dubai Opera. Brought to you by the team behind Baker & Spice, the menu promises a little bit of everything, focusing on affordable dishes cooked in traditional ways, inspired by the cultural melting pot of Dubai.

all’Onda
One of eight restaurants that has opened its doors in the new Emerald Palace Kempinski on The Palm, is Italian Venetian restaurant, All’Onda. In the kitchen, guests can expect a blend of Italian Venetian cuisine, with influences from Japanese and Indian cooking traditions, with the menu headed up by the award-winning chef Chris Jaeckle.

Opa
Traditional Greek eats, Zorba dancing and plate smashing are all on the menu at new Greek restaurant, Opa. The new spot, which has replaced Catch Dubai in the Fairmont on Shiekh Zayed road promises an affordable menu of traditional Greek eats, a friendly ambience and charming interiors inspired by the Greek Islands.

Bounty Beets
Gourmet by Kcal has had a glow-up, and now goes by the name of Bounty Beets. Found in Le Meridien Mina Seyahi, the new spot is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner with seating fro 130. It’s designed to be photographed – think angel wings in a mural on the wall and a huge blossom tree in the centre, while the menu has a big focus on healthy eats.

Mamazonia
Found on the second floor of Dubai Marina’s Pier 7 building is Mama Zonia. The restaurant, lounge and terrace promises to take you on a journey through the Amazon rainforest thanks to its jungle-themed decor, tribal entertainment and tropical, Latin American cuisine. The venue has already launched a weekday business lunch, gents’ night every Monday, ladies’ night every Tuesday, so we’re confident you’ll want to be adding it to your weekly ladies’ night circuit.

Mix Dubai
Mix is the first Dubai outpost by celebrated chef Alain Ducasse, found in the Emerald Palace Kempinski hotel. Spread over three floors and with room for 400 guests, the stunning space features a separate bar and lounge, private chef’s table and central Faberge Egg, which spans three floors of the dramatic restaurant space.

The Duck Hook
The Duck Hook is a new British gastropub found in Dubai Hills Golf Club. Themed on traditional English country pursuits. Overlooking the golf course, it promises a menu of ‘pub grub meets modern European fare’, craft beers, and plenty of screens for watching international sports live. It’s dog-friendly too, so you can take your pooch along when you’re craving some proper pub grub.

Copper Chimney
The award-winning Indian restaurant brand Copper Chimney has been a leader in Indian cuisine for more than forty years, and it can now be found in Dubai. The UAE branch has just opened its doors at the Millennium Plaza Hotel, on Sheikh Zayed Road, and can seat 130 guests over two floors. On the menu, expect a variety of small plates designed to be shared, while the venue advertises that their signature Tandoors are a must-try.

Chalet Berezka
One of the first restaurant openings at new Palm Jumeirah destination, The Pointe, Chalet Berezka has just opened its doors. The split level, licensed concept promises a diverse menu of Eastern European classics with influences from Middle Eastern, Mediterranean and central Asian cuisines. There will also be daily live shows from 10pm which will rotate on a frequent basis, and a beverage and shisha license that extends to 3am through the week and 5am on weekends.

Stoke House
Featuring a casual dining area, bar, terrace and pool area, Stoke House is an all-day eatery located at the clubhouse at Damac Hills estate. Overlooking the lush golf course, the venue will open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and promises daily deals including happy hours, a weekly quiz night and weekend brunches. It’s the latest opening by Gates Hospitality, who also look after properties such as Reform in The Lakes and folly in Madinat Jumeirah.
