The Secret Life of Pets 2

Animal-themed animation, The Secret Life Of Pets 2 is the follow-up to 2016’s smash hit tale of Jack Russell terrier Max, and just what he gets up to when his owner, Katie, leaves for work. This time Max is adjusting to life in a full house following Katie’s wedding and the arrival of her son, Liam. If you’re one of those people who talks at length about your dog’s “personality”, you’ll enjoy this.

The Sun is also a Star

College-bound romantic Daniel Bae and Jamaica-born pragmatist Natasha Kingsley meet and fall for each other over one day amid the fervor and flurry of New York City. Unfortunately, Natasha has just a day left in the USA as she and her family face deportation, which leads her to fiercely fight her growing feelings for Daniel.

The Hustle

Josephine Chesterfield is a glamorous, seductive British woman who knows how to defraud gullible men out of their money, while fun-loving Australian Penny Rust achieves the same goal by different methods. The two meet on their way to theFrench Riviera to find more men to swindle, and while at the start they work against each other, they then join forces to trick rich tech genius, Thomas Westerburg.

Bharat

Bharat is a journey of a man and a nation together. During the Partition of India in 1947, Bharat’s father stays back in present-day Pakistan who make Bharat promise to keep the family together. The young eight-year-old agrees and it’s a promise he keeps over the next 60 years of his life, despite whatever challenge is thrown at him.

Subtitles will be available in English and Arabic.

Malayalam

The Virus

Virus is based on real-life events during 2018 with the NIPHA virus outbreak in Kerala. A disease which is transmitted directly from animals or between humans with no treatment or vaccination. The disease, unfortunately, wiped out 75 per cent of those affected.  Set in Kozhikode, the film follows the stages of the epidemic from identification to its total annihilation and also portrays heroic moments that helped in effectively controlling the virus from spreading further.

Subtitles will be available in English and Arabic.
