Fancy dinner on a helipad?
You’ll want to add this to your bucket list of things to do in the capital.
The St. Regis Abu Dhabi has launched a special sunset supper on the hotel’s very own rooftop helipad.
That means you’ll get to nosh on nibbles all while standing 255 metres in the air.
After being escorted through the hotel’s secret back hallways and elevators, you’ll arrive to the rooftop helipad where chefs, butlers, mixologists and waiters will be waiting to serve you.
While the event doesn’t include a traditional sit-down dinner, the menu will feature premium caviar, fresh oysters and plenty of fancy canapés.
There will also be a live saxophonist and a special champagne sabering ritual.
Plus the view isn’t too shabby either.
“Our aim was to create a truly unique experience that gave the public a look behind the scenes of The St. Regis Abu Dhabi,” said General Manager Moustafa Sakr. “We wanted something that people would really find engaging – perhaps because it excited them, perhaps because it scared them – but either way, something they would want to talk about.”
Hosted on the second Friday of each month this winter, the Helipad Sunset Supper is priced at Dhs400 per person or Dhs550 with bubbles.
Timings will change, depending on the sunset. The first event, which takes place on November 11, will take place from 5pm to 6.30pm, with sunset at 5.37pm.
We recommend you book in advance, as the event is only open to 20 guests. For more information visit: stregisabudhabi.com
