One of the things we love most about living in a melting pot like Dubai is that you can enjoy great food from every corner of the globe. From dim sum to ceviche, it’s all right here on our doorstep.

If you happen to be hankering for some delicious Thai cuisine, let us point you in the direction of Benjarong, the signature restaurant of five-star Thai hotel brand, Dusit Thani.

With spectacular views of the Burj Khalifa and a majestic interior featuring regal pillars, dark wooden furniture, and three private dining areas, it’s a pretty special spot – and that’s before we’ve even mentioned the food.

Benjarong is led by award-winning head chef Naruemol Poolkuan, who counts the Thai royal family among her foodie fans. You can’t get much more authentic than that, right?

Poolkuan and her all-Thai kitchen serve up centuries-old recipes from the ancient palaces of Thailand, including classics like tom yum, green chicken curry, pad thai and papaya salad. Each dish is cooked and presented exactly how the royal family likes it.

But don’t worry – it won’t cost you a princely price. In fact, Benjarong has a brilliant business lunch deal where you can get a two-course meal for Dhs85 and a three-course meal for Dhs105. The deal is valid from noon to 3pm, Saturday to Thursday.

You can also sample many of Benjarong’s renowned dishes at the Dusit Thani’s Friday brunch. The brunch takes place across three of the hotel’s specialty restaurants; Benjarong, PAX Ristorante & Lounge and The Californian.

Expect more than 60 dishes from stations including the Far East corner, Peking Duck station, BBQ station, cheese station and cold seafood quarter, as well as live entertainment from Thai performers.

Perhaps you want to learn how to cook Royal Thai cuisine for yourself? Every second Saturday of the month, Benjarong offer a hands-on cooking experience with chef Poolkuan. She’ll share all of her tips and tricks so you can recreate her royal-approved dishes at home.

The cooking class costs Dhs250 per person, which includes soft beverages, a certificate of participation, apron, menu and recipes. To reserve a slot, call (04) 317 4515 or email dine.dtdu@dusit.com.
