Sponsored: A gin and tonic trolley, hearty roast dinners and traditional English desserts make this a fantastic feast…
Looking to impress your foodie friends this Friday? You’ll need a good brunch then. Luckily, Address Downtown have just launched a brand new upscale affair that’s set to tick all the boxes.
The Britannia Brunch takes place at The Restaurant, and is a four-hour package filled with free-flowing British beverages, an oh-so English starter buffet, traditional a la carte mains and family style sharing desserts.
It kicks off at the leisurely time of 1pm, which gives you plenty of time to dig out your best dress for the occasion. Bag a seat in front of the floor to ceiling windows, or head out onto the terrace for a front row seat to the afternoon fountain show.
For food, guests can help themselves to a generous selection of buffet starters that are both quintessentially British as well as influenced by modern European flavours, such as freshly shucked oysters, carpaccio’s and mini burratas.
For the main event, guests can select an a la carte option from a choice of traditional British roasts with a Yorkshire pud and all the trimmings, or other old school English dishes such as toad in the hole.
Finish it all off with desserts to share which include a deconstructed Eton Mess, sticky toffee pudding and plenty more.
Wash it down with free flowing beers or wines, a choice of twelve gins straight from the gin trolley or a fruity glass of Pimms.
Don’t forget to keep the party going at 63rd floor bar Neos, where from 5pm to 8pm there’s 50 per cent off the entire food and drink menu.
