Hatta has fast become the go-to spot for an adventurous day-cay (or weekend away) from Dubai. Located just an hour and a half from Dubai, And a new attraction has just opened there that looks well worth a trip out of the city – a 200 metre zorbing track.

Described as the first and only outdoor zorbing track in the Middle East, Gogravity it’s open to both adults and children every day from 9am to 6.30pm.

A single ride of the zorbing track is priced at Dhs55 per person, with two rides for Dhs85.

If you’re not familiar with zorbing, the sport involves rolling down a hill in a giant transparent orb, reaching speed as fast as you can. Here’s what it looks like in action:

As well as offering the zorbing track, Hatta is also kitted out with zorbing football, where players wear the orb around their body and can still run around the pitch.

Teams from two up to 10 people can take part in a game, which is priced at Dhs35 per person.

The zorbing track is part of the new Hatta Wadi Hub, which offers a range of both paid and free activities such as mountain biking, downhill carting, a human sling shot, axe throwing, archery, adventure rope courses, zip lines, and more.
