A fun festival for Dubai’s pet owners…

As anyone with a dog or cat will tell you, Dubai isn’t necessarily the most pet-friendly city.

While things are slowly getting better (there are pet-friendly pockets of the city like The Greens and JLT) when something comes along that lets pet owners gather and gush over one another’s furry friends it’s a cause for celebration.

Enter the Dubai Pet Festival. Now in its sixth year, this day-long outing for pets and their owners will take place between 10am to 9pm on Friday 15 December at the Birds & Pets Market Grounds in Al Warzan.

Held in conjunction with Dubai Municipality, entry is free and there’s plenty to keep you and your pets occupied including dog and cat shows, agility rings, animal welfare and adoption facilities, mobile grooming and even a petting zoo.
