In pics: Dubai Canvas takes over La Mer
Giant 3D cats, camels, doodles and even a slinky garden…
Dubai Canvas is back, and even a spot of rain over the weekend couldn’t put a dampener on the colourful street art festival.
Public spaces at La Mer, the beachfront district in Jumeirah 1, have been transformed into “open-air canvases” for more than 30 artists from around the world to display their work.
As well as the spectacular 3D art – which is always a major draw to the festival – this year you’ll also find tape art, inflatable art, object art, and “graffiti spaghetti”.
