Celebrated chef Alain Ducasse opens Dubai restaurant
miX promises three floors of seasonally changing French food, stunning Palm Jumeirah views and a three storey Faberge egg…
Internationally acclaimed chef Alain Ducasse is launching his first Dubai restaurant, miX Dubai on Saturday December 15.
Spread over three floors and with room for 400 guests, the stunning space features a separate bar and lounge, private chef’s table and central Faberge Egg, which spans three floors of the dramatic restaurant space.
The modern, luxurious restaurant promises a well-rounded, seasonally changing menu of modern French dishes, with highlights including the Marinated raw blue shrimps, caviar; Pan-seared duck foie gras, dolce forte sauce and sea-scallops, lettuce cream and white truffles.
Looking for a private dinner experience? You’ll want to head to the top level of the restaurant, where a private chef’s table is hidden from view, accessible only through a private elevator. Inside the restaurant has space for 12 guests and a DJ, and comes complete with a dedicated kitchen and private terrace.
In a totally separate space, you’ll find the more informal, 44-cover miX bar and lounge, where guests can enjoy a separate menu of more casual dining dishes and a laid back atmosphere, with both indoor and al fresco seating options available.
The final space is a 70-cover private dining space, that also houses a private bar. While over on the opposite terrace, you’ll find a private dining space for 48 guests.
Ducasse is famed for being one of the world’s most decorated chefs – his restaurants have amassed an impressive 21 Michelin stars, so we can’t wait to dine at his hands this December.
Coupled with stunning views across the Gulf and Palm Jumeirah from its varying terraces, bars and shisha terraces, this is one spot we can’t wait to explore…
