UAE weather: Humidity levels to reach 90 per cent this week

Dubai summer is most definitely here. With temperatures reaching up to 45 degrees, few could ignore the intense wall of heat the second we step outside.
But it’s not just scorching temperatures we’re dealing with. Humidity levels are expected to reach as high as 90 per cent this week, with the highest humidity expected today, Sunday June 16 and Monday June 17, according to the National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS).

High humidity levels aren’t unheard of in the UAE, sometimes reaching up to 100 per cent through the peak summer months.
Fog and mist have also made an appearance over Dubai and Abu Dhabi this weekend, and temperatures are forecast to reach between 40 and 45 degrees. It’s expected that they will drop slightly by Tuesday, to provide UAE residents with some relief.
There’ll be winds of up to 40kph in some areas so anticipate it to be hot, humid and dusty outside.
