The new dining experience is the first of its kind in Dubai…

Looking to escape the hustle and bustle of the city for a bit this weekend? Well, why not take a breather in the heart of the desert with a magical new dining experience?

The stunning new Sonara Camp is opening on Thursday, November 28 in the Dubai Desert Conservation, and the eco-friendly restaurant concept is the first permanent and licensed one of its kind in Dubai.

Priced at Dhs860 for adults including soft beverages and Dhs380 for children, you’ll feast on dishes from a specially-crafted menu combining authentic Arabian-inspired dishes, Eastern and Western fusion food and French cuisine as the sun sets on the beautiful scene.

Located 40 minutes out of central Dubai, Sonara Camp offers an unforgettable dining experience. As well as seated dining, there’s a bar and lounge (alcohol is available at an extra cost) with shisha, live entertainment and lots to keep everyone happy.

After dinner you can relax at the outdoor cinema with popcorn, see live birds with the falconer and even look to the stars with the resident astronomer. The conservation is home to oryxes and gazelles, so don’t be surprised to see them wandering around during the special evening.

There are no overnight stays at the camp – you’ll be picked up and dropped off at the meeting point either by an SUV and ride over the dunes or you can even get collected by a camel. If you wish, there’s even a private chaffeur service which can collect you and drop you off directly from your home.

Committed to sustainability, Sonara Camp use ethical products and materials, with a zero-waste policy and the use of solar energy, where possible.

This is definitely one for the ‘Gram. And the memory box…
