Festival Plaza, the home of all things community, is hosting its next educational parenting event this month on Monday, November 15.
The event is organised by homegrown kids social app Play:Date in partnership with Dubai based podcast Friday’s Child.
It will take place at Jamaica Blue at Festival Plaza, Jebel Ali from 10am to 12pm. The best news? It won’t cost you a single dirham.
Here’s what will take place at the event
Peta Al Akawi (above left), a podcast host will be back to lead the event offering up curated information that will educate parents and offer them access to a wide range of infant, child and parenting experts.
This month, Al Akawi will be joined by Principal Lisa (above right). Lisa is an ex-nursery school principal in Dubai who has worked with babies and children of all ages over the past 30 years. She is the author of The Potty Queen blog and at the event, she will be discussing potty training awareness and understanding.
After the discussion, there will be a Q&A session where she will answer all your questions.
Reserve your spot here as seats are limited. Alternatively, you can send an email to hello@play-date.ae
The event takes place every month, so watch out for the announcement of the next event on whatson.ae or on Festival Plaza, Jebel Ali’s social media. Each month will see a new expert guest each time providing new information, so it’s worth returning if you’ve attended before.
