Here’s what went down at The First Collection at Jumeirah Village Circle Lock In
A weekend well-spent…
If you have never been to a What’s On Lock In before, this post will show you just what you’re missing out on. Thankfully, we like showing our readers a good time, so this isn’t just a one-off event and, hint hint… the next Lock In event is going to be announced soon. So, if you don’t want to miss out on the next one, make sure you sign up here.
Now, of course, each of our epic What’s On Lock In’s is different so there is something new to experience every time, but what you can expect is plenty of fun, great activations, a delicious brunch, and of course, brilliant vibes. Take a look at the gallery below to know exactly what we’re talking about and why you should attend the next one.
Our guests descended to The First Collection at Jumeirah Village Circle on September 3 and were treated to a staycation with a number of fun activations.
To get our guest’s brunch ready, we had Bristles and Mane offering free beard trims that had the gents lining up while Cutting Edge Salon glammed up the women with braids, shimmer strands and some pretty nail art. Glitterbox added that touch of sparkle to complete the look while Henna by Z got creative with non-permanent tattoo art.
Rayya Wellness provided mini-massages and guests (and half of Team What’s On) went shopping for sustainable personal care and grooming products at JR Organics. And of course, we had our brilliant friends at TEPFactor there where guests had to use their brains and skills to complete fun tasks.
It was on to brunch at Village Bistro from here where guests enjoyed authentic Southern French cuisine and grills from the live BBQ. They were also treated by Sugargram and Nicecream to some yummy bite-sized cupcakes and healthy ice creams.
The after brunch party took place at Sante Ria Bar where sips were enjoyed and a few of our guests couldn’t resist getting snapped by the brilliant team from Fame Spin.
After a night’s rest in the cosy rooms, guests refuelled the next morning with breakfast and showed off their creative side with our creative friends from ARTFem designing their very own tote bags. For guests looking for a challenge, BoxedIn provided the phenomenal thrill of an escape room challenge, in an itty bitty space. Others relaxed poolside while enjoying refreshing sips.
Sounds like a fun weekend right? The next What’s On Dubai Lock In is going to be announced very (very) soon, so make sure you keep your eyes glued to our social channels so you don’t miss out.
