Last night, the weather update said today would be 2 degrees cooler. This morning, Abu Dhabi woke up to overcast skies. What does this mean for the UAE capital?

While the emirate has also seen haze, winds, dusty conditions and reduced visibility all week, the Al Dhafrah region did receive some rainfall early this morning, as did Al Ain’s Al Tiwayya area, as per reports from the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM).

While temperatures in the UAE are expected to touch 44 degrees celsius with winds capable of touching 40km/h, the lowest temperature recorded in the UAE was 26.4 degrees celsius in Fujairah, early this morning.
