Canadian daytime music festival Piknic Electronik returns to Dubai on March 28.

The series of monthly Saturday events run from 1pm to 10pm and  is aimed at “electronic music lovers and hip young families”. This means that parents choking for a fix of dance music can bring the kids along too. You can rave all day in front of the DJ stage, hula hoop with the hippy contigent or get your chakras aligned at a yoga class.

Dubai’s expatriate community works hard and plays hard, and is constantly seeking new alternative types of entertainment,” said Piknic Dubai’s Adam Fahim. “That, coupled with the sudden explosion of the electronic music scene here, makes Dubai the perfect new home for Piknic Electronik.”
