The UAE’s top golf magazine is celebrating its 100th issue with an event at Abu Dhabi Golf Club this week

Got some spare time on Thursday? If you’re a golfer, there’s prizes up for grabs at Abu Dhabi Golf Club – an amateur tournament is taking place there to celebrate Golf Digest magazine’s 100th issue.

This Thursday’s tournament is part of the magazine’s annual Golf Digest Middle East Series and is one of three competitions taking place. The other two are in Ras Al Khaimah at Al Hamra Golf Club (Sept 30) and Dubai at the Emirates Golf Club Majlis Course (Oct 17).

You can play one, two or all three events – there’s a prize for the overall order of merit champion – and the magazine is looking after players of all abilities with two divisions for the men (0-10 and 11-24 max).

The Westin Abu Dhabi Golf Resort And Spa in Abu Dhabi are offering a special double room rate of Dhs500 for players considering staying at the on-site luxury hotel the night before or after the tournament. For information, please ask to be sent info in the “Any special requests” section of the online entry form.

Spaces are limited at all three events, especially at The Majlis where all the magazine’s sponsors – including Official Lease Partner Autoroute – will be joining the fun.
