A flyer has been circulated which sheds light on some confusion about the tournament…
The 2018 FIFA World Cup is now less than two months away and it looks like there’s some bad news for Du subscribers hoping to catch the year’s biggest sporting event as it unfolds live in Russia.
A flyer being circulated by Du that states they will not be broadcasting any matches due to beIN Sports holding the exclusive rights to the tournament.
It appears there has been some confusion around this as several beIN Sports channels are available as part of Du’s cable packages and these channels have been advertising an offer to subscribe to the World Cup for free for a limited time.
The flyer goes on to clarify, however, that this offer is only available to beIN satellite subscribers and not to duTV customers.
Hello Kenna, Appologies for the inconvinince, please note that World cup package is not yet announced for bein channels on du TV, stay tuned and we will announce the World cup offer soon. Thanks

Du has replied to a number of customers on social media (and also noted in the flyer) that they have yet to announce what World Cup packages (if any) they will offer and that they are currently working with beIN.
Presently, the only way to watch the 2018 FIFA World Cup is with a satellite subscription through beIN Sports, for which the company is currently offering free access to the tournament if you sign up for a 12-month contract.
