It’ll take place on the final weekend of the Dubai Fitness Challenge…

The world-renowned obstacle course challenge, Tough Mudder is returning to the UAE later this year for two special events. We already know it’s happening in Abu Dhabi for the first time ever on Friday October 11, and it’s making its way back to Dubai in November too – at a brand new location.

For the first time ever, Tough Mudder will take place at Dubai Festival City, and will serve as the final weekend to the Dubai Fitness Challenge on Friday November 15.

Dubai Fitness Challenge is back for its third year, running from Friday October 18 to Saturday November 16.

Tough Mudder is a global obstacle course race, known for being very tough and very muddy. Challengers make their way through a variety of obstacles as they head for the finish line – it’s the ultimate test of physical strength, stamina and mental grit.

There’s four races to get involved with: Tough Mudder 5k includes 13+ obstacles on a five kilometre route, Tough Mudder Classic hosts 25+ obstacles on a 10 kilometre route and brand new for this year, Tougher Mudder is a timed, competitive race that will offer prizes for the fastest times logged.

Kids can also join in the fun with Mini Mudder, a 1.6 kilometre course route for five to 13-year olds.

This year, there’ll be plenty of new obstacles such as Black Widow, which is a series of long elevated tightropes suspended over (muddy) water, and Leap of Faith where contestants are expected to conquer a 6′ (also muddy) water-filled gap.

Tickets are available now, with a Dhs75 discount on adult tickets if you buy them online before September 30.
