UB40

Abu Dhabi’s Taste of Abu Dhabi festival will run for three days from Thursday November 7 to Saturday November 9. Taste of Abu Dhabi will see celebrity chefs, live cooking demos and live music, lots of it. Old-school British reggae band UB40 will be taking to the stage on Thursday, November 7 and belting out some of their biggest hits.

Boyzlife

Does the name ‘Boyzlife’ sound vaguely familiar but you can’t work out why? Well, it is in fact a hybrid of 90’s boybands Boyzone and Westlife. The new band is made up of Boyzone’s Keith Duffy and Westlife’s Brian McFadden and crowds at the Taste of Abu Dhabi festival can look forward to an array of both bands top when they perform on Friday, November 8.

Mica Paris

Aretha Franklin fans, get excited. A one night only tribute event is coming to Dubai Opera later this year, as British soul singer Mica Paris takes on some of Franklin’s best-loved songs at the stunning venue. The concert will take place Thursday November 14, so stop Day Dreaming and get your tickets – which are on sale now from Dhs150.

Dua Lipa

The second ever music concert to be held at The Pointe will see superstar singer Dua Lipa perform on Friday November 15. Tickets to see the New Rules hitmaker live in Dubai are priced at Dhs250 for general admission and Dhs350 for fan pit access. With all tickets, visitors will get a Dhs100 credit to spend at a wide range of dining outlets at the waterfront destination on Palm Jumeirah. Tickets are available via ticketmaster.ae. The event will kick off at 4pm, with a host of local opening acts taking to the stage before the grand performance from Dua Lipa later in the evening. Free shuttle buses will be available from various locations across The Palm to transport guests to and from The Pointe from 4pm onwards.

AR Rahman

Award-winning musician, Allah-Rakha Rahman, more commonly known as AR Rahman returns to Dubai on Friday, November 15, 2019 to perform at City Walk’s Coca-Cola Arena. The Indian music director is known as ‘the Mozart of Madras’ described by Time magazine as the world’s most prominent and prolific film composer. He is known for integrating Eastern classical music with electronic music sounds, world music genres and traditional orchestral arrangements.

Passenger

Busker-turned-platinum-selling singer-songwriter Passenger is headed for Dubai Opera on Wednesday November 20. Michael Rosenberg AKA Passenger’s international number one hit single, Let Her Go, has topped the charts across the globe and been viewed on You Tube over two billion times. His famed hit was also nominated for a Brit Award for British Single of the Year in 2014 and earned him an Ivor Novello.

Marshmello

Happier hitmaker, Marshmello will open the weekend on the Yasalam After Race Concerts at du Arena on Thursday November 28. When the mysterious helmet-wearing music producer takes the stage at du Arena later this year, fans can expect to hear an array of his hit singles from the last four years including HappierWolvesFriendsAlone and Silence – all of which were clues to Yas Marina circuit’s teaser post.

Travis Scott

Hip hop superstar Travis Scott will headline at the Yasalam After-Race Concert at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix 2019. Scott will perform at du Arena, Yas Island, on Friday, 29 November, the second of four after race concerts. Anyone that caught his ASTROWORLD tour in person or on social media will know that it was a spectacular production, so visitors to the F1 can expect nothing less from his performance in Abu Dhabi later this year. Fans can expect some of his world-famous hits such as Sicko Mode, Antidote and Yosemite

Lana Del Rey

Singer-songwriter Lana Del Rey will also perform at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix after race concerts, taking the stage on Saturday November 30. Elizabeth Woolridge Grant, known professionally as Lana Del Rey, captured the world’s attention with her debut single Video Games in 2011. Her unique musical style has been described as ‘Hollywood sadcore’ or alternative pop, as she takes influences from a variety of opposing genres. Fans can expect some of her biggest past and current hits, including Video Games, Born to Die, Summertime Sadness and West Coast. It will be the first time that the songstress has performed in the UAE.

The Killers

Synth-rockers The Killers will perform at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix after race concerts in 2019. The Mr Brightside hitmakers will close the show on the Yasalam After Race Concerts at du Arena on Sunday December 1. When the four-piece rock band take to the stage at du Arena later this year, fans can expect to hear an array of their singles from the last two decades including Somebody Told Me, Human and their iconic hit, Mr Brightside.

December

Kylie Minogue

Australian-British pop sensation, Kylie Minogue, has been confirmed as the headline performer on Friday, December 6 at the Sevens Stadium. The Grammy Award-winning artist will have fans Spinning Around from 9.30pm after the second day of the world-famous tournament. Expect to hear some of her biggest hits from the last 30 years, such as Can’t Get You Out Of My HeadOn A Night Like This and Love At First Sight. Tickets for the event on Friday, December 6 will cost Dhs400 or Dhs500 for the whole weekend.

Dido

British singer Dido, known for hits such as Thank You and Here With Me, is set to perform in Dubai later this year. The star is currently on a world tour of her fifth album, Still On My Mind. It seems the artist saved the best for last, as her final show will be at Dubai Media City Amphitheatre on Friday December 13. Tickets are now on sale from Dhs295.

Mel C

Spice Girls fans, bookmark Friday December 13 in your diaries as Mel C, aka Sporty Spice, is returning to Dubai to perform a DJ set and some of her old tracks at Dubai beach club, Zero Gravity.

Bruno Mars

Music megastar Bruno Mars has been confirmed as the headline act for the New Year’s Eve concert at du Arena in Abu Dhabi this year. The 11-time Grammy award-winning star will take to the stage on Tuesday December 31. Famed for hits including Just The Way You Are, Grenade, Uptown Funk and When I Was Your Man, fans can expect to sing along to all his biggest tunes when he takes to the stage at du Arena at the end of the year.
