The two-day festival at Nasimi beach is shaping up to be another epic music event in Dubai

Felix Jaehn and Lost Frequencies have been announced as the international DJ’s headlining the two day Casa Playa music festival at Nasimi beach.

The boho-inspired beach festival will take to Nasimi for two days of day-to-night events on September 28 and 29. EDX, Claptone and more local acoustic artists complete the bill.

No stranger to Dubai, Felix Jaehn has headlined at Nasimi before. In 2015, he headed to the shores of the beach club to perform at their annual full moon party, and returned last year to DXBeach at Zero Gravity alongside Nicky Romero and Claptone, who will join Jaehn at Casa Playa.

The young DJ rose to fame with a remix of OMI’s ‘Cheerleader’ and has since had hits including ‘Ain’t Nobody’ and ‘Hot2Touch’.

Lost Frequencies, real name Felix De Laet, is making his fourth appearance in Dubai (the Belgian DJ was last here in February for One Big Friday at Zero Gravity). The deep house DJ is most well known for his single ‘Are You With Me’, and has amassed over 10 million streams on Spotify.

Also in the line up is DJ and producer EDX (real name Maurizio Colella) who has made waves in the EDM scene remixing tracks by the likes of Benny Benassi, Bob Sinclair and Armin Van Buuren. Claptone completes the line up, bringing his unique EDM sound to the festival as the final leg of his ‘Golden Summer tour’.

Day to night events at the festival will include water sports, raft building, water volleyball and paddle boarding. And once you’re tired of activities on dry land, you can continue the party out at sea and join the DJ’s on the floating pontoon.

Casa Playa will run from 6pm to 3am on Thursday 28 and 1pm to 3am on Friday 29. Entry is free.
