Speed limits of Al Qudra and Umm Suqeim roads to go up
Live in the Ranches, Sports City or often go out to Al Qudra? Well, as of this Saturday, February 6, the speed limit on Umm Suqeim Road will be raised to 90km per hour. The limit is currently 80km per hour.
This will cover the stretch of Umm Suqeim Road between Mohammed Bin Zayed Road and Al Sufouh Road.
The decision was a joint one between the RTA and Dubai Police.
Al Qudra Road will also see an increase in speed limit, from 80km per hour to 90km per hour on the stretch of Al Qudra Road between Mohammad Bin Zayed Road and Emirates Road.
Then, the other parts of Al Qudra Road, where the speed limit is currently 90km per hour, will get a new speed limit of 100km per hour.
But remember, this only takes effect as of Saturday February 6, so stick to the old limits for the rest of the week.
